Does it hurt during or after?

No, it will not make it worse, but if you are prone to getting a thrush then it would be a good idea to obtain from over-the-counter treatments such as Canesten about 2 to 3 days prior to your planned laser treatment.
Can you exercise straight after?
Most exercises can be continued but strenuous exercises should be avoided for 3 days.
How many treatments do I need for maximum results – and what is the ideal gap between them?
We think that about 90% will have a good response to 2-3 treatments. Treatment effectiveness is 24 months or more.
How long does the treatment last and what will happen to the area after this time
We estimate the effectiveness of the treatment to be 24 months or more. When treatment wears off it the vaginal area will be go back to how it was originally prior to treatment. The treatment can be repeated several times without any problem
Will this treatment help or prevent prolapse?
It may help with mild prolapse but is unlikely to prevent prolapse long-term.
Can I have this treatment if I had previous vaginal repair surgery for prolapse?
In most instances yes. If there was any mesh used to repair the prolapsed, then the gynecologist may choose to advise against it.
I suffer from vaginal dryness. Will this treatment make it worse?
No. If anything it may help to improve lubrication. Recent studies showed improvement in the dryness caused by menopause symptoms.

Is the laser procedure is able to solve the problem of SUI alone or are other actions to be taken?
The procedure used for SUI with Alma lasers are highly effective but other considerations like hormonal corrections could be added to adjust oestrogen deficit by hormonal therapies, Kegel exercises to rehabilitate the pelvic floor, etc.
Do you use the vaginal laser for other indication?

How many treatments will I need?

Will my hair ever grow back?

However, hair follicles that were not in the active growth phase will need to be treated. It’s also not unusual for patients to have a touch-up two years after initial treatment due to hormonal changes.
Why do I need 4 – 6 treatments?
Hair growth occurs in 4 stages: Early Anagen (early hair growth), Anagen (active hair growth) Catagen (regression) Telogen (resting, not growing) Laser hair removal only affects the Anagen stage, (actively growing hair). Therefore, approximately twenty-five-percent of hair is removed with each treatment. After 4 to 6 treatments, the area should be free from hair.
Do I need to arrange time off from work for treatments?
No. “down time” and requires no recovery time. You can have a Pain-Free, Hair-Free treatment and return to work, school or other normal activities immediately.
How do I know it really won’t hurt?
